Oct 28, 2015 · Désirant afficher la page de mon choix lorsque j'ouvre un nouvel onglet dans Firefox 41.02, je me suis rendu sur la page "about.config" comme il se doit et là j'ai cherché ma ligne "browser.newtab.url" afin de lui coller l'URL de mon choix. Mais quelle ne fût pas ma surprise lorsque je constatai avec horreur l’absence de ladite ligne.

May 17, 2014 #1 Hello, i have the same problem Über die aubout:config konnte man ja immer mit browser.newtab.url eine feste Startseite für den neuen Tab festlegen. Diesen Eintrag gibt es komischerweise jetzt nicht mehr. Diesen Eintrag gibt Wenig erfreut dürften viele Nutzer von Firefox 41 über die Entfernung des about:config Schlüssels browser.newtab.url sein. Dieser regelte das Verhalten beim Öffnen von neuen Tabs (siehe Firefox 13 - Neue Tabs konfigurieren).

Dieser regelte das Verhalten beim Öffnen von neuen Tabs (siehe Firefox 13 - Neue Tabs konfigurieren).Mit dieser Einstellungsoption konnte eine beliebige Seite definiert werden, die beim Öffnen eines neuen Tabs aufgerufen wurde. Über die aubout:config konnte man ja immer mit browser.newtab.url eine feste Startseite für den neuen Tab festlegen.

In Firefox 16 configuration is the following value: browser.newtab.url: about:newtab What are other possible values here? In Mozilla knowledge base only the values about:newtab and about:blank are

The option to set the focus to either the web page or the address bar has been reintroduced. That's why the cookies permission is needed again (as in New Tab Override 14.3.0 and older).

browser.newtab.url gone: Millwood: 8/30/17 6:42 AM: I've always set browser.newtab.url to about:blank as I don't want the default behavior. This pref is gone in 56.0b6 and 56.0b7. I can't even find the bug that removes it.
